We kicked off 2026 with a strong mark on the global textile map. Our first stop was Dhaka for the Garment Technology Bangladesh (GTB) 2026 exhibition. Although the dust has settled in the ICCB Expo Village, the energy and insights gathered from our conversations are still driving us forward.
Bangladesh remains a pivotal market for the RMG (Ready-Made Garments) sector, and our presence there was strategic. It is a place where innovation meets massive production scale, and where the demand for precision and efficiency is constantly rising.
A Partnership Built on Quality
Our success at GTB 2026 was made possible through close cooperation with our incredible partner – Mindway Technologies Ltd. It was a pleasure to co-host visitors at their booth.
Partnering with Mindway means more to us than just sharing exhibition space. It is a signal to the market that Allcomp technology comes with robust local support. Our clients in Bangladesh can be confident that by choosing our solutions, they get not only European machinery quality but also the assurance of top-tier service and implementation on the ground.
Expertise Over Hardware: Understanding the Difference
This time, our strategy wasn’t about a “hardware show,” but about sharing know-how. We didn’t bring a physical cutter to the floor because we believe that the best investment begins with a conversation and needs analysis, not just looking at a machine’s casing.
Our booth transformed into a consultation hub. We focused on the engineering of the cutting process. Visitors had the unique opportunity to sit down with our specialists to dissect and analyze their current cutting room workflows.
The discussions centered on the capabilities of our flagship multi-layer solution – the Prime.9 cutter. We addressed the specific, real-world challenges faced by manufacturers in Bangladesh:
-
Denim Cutting: How to maintain precision when cutting through multiple layers of heavy fabric.
-
Lingerie and Knits: Strategies to eliminate errors when handling delicate, elastic materials.
-
Sustainability: How our algorithms optimize material usage, a crucial factor for modern, eco-friendly production.
Instead of watching a demo, our guests received concrete calculations and strategies on how the Prime.9 can revolutionize their efficiency. This approach was highly appreciated—the conversations were technical, substantive, and solution-oriented.
What’s Next?
The four days of the expo flew by. The immense interest and great energy we encountered confirm that the direction for the industry in this region is clear: automation and precision.
The exhibition is over, but as we say at Allcomp – the real work starts now. We are now turning those “fruitful conversations” into concrete projects and implementations.
We can already confirm: We will be back in Dhaka in 2027! Strong partnerships start with great conversations, and this year, we had plenty of them.
