M.O.W. 2026 – observations from the trade fair

At the end of September, our representatives, Michał Zabagło and Grzegorz Żupa, visited M.O.W. 2026 in Bad Salzuflen. This year’s edition brought together 620 suppliers from 52 countries, with Poland once again being one of the more strongly represented markets.

As every year, the fair was first and foremost a good opportunity to talk with manufacturers and see the direction in which the furniture market is developing.

Two things particularly caught our attention:

  1. The value a piece of furniture brings to the customer’s everyday life is becoming increasingly important. More attention is being paid to material quality, functionality and the ability to personalize products.
  2. M.O.W. also provides a very practical picture of what furniture manufacturers believe the market is ready to buy.

From our perspective, however, what happens earlier in the process, during production, is just as interesting.

A wider variety of collections and materials means greater demands on cutting operations. Flexibility, repeatable cutting quality, efficient material utilization and the ability to respond quickly to changes are becoming increasingly important.

That is why attending events like M.O.W. is valuable for us, even as visitors and observers.

We talk with manufacturers, listen to their experiences and try to better understand the challenges they will be facing in the coming years.

Because to design effective solutions for cutting operations, you first need to understand the market those operations are serving.
